About Me

Matt Silverman is a fine furniture craftsman, metalworker, and photographer based out of New England. When not making things he is an ardent environmental conservationist and loves to spend time outside.

Many parts of Matt's life have influenced the philosophy of his craft. Long summers spent at Camp Sangamon in rural Vermont gave him a great appreciation for woodworking and natural surroundings. His time spent at Colby College in Waterville, Maine cemented his interest in environmental science and biology.

Matt has spent several years working for the Kennebec Land Trust in Central Maine and building cabinets and furniture for Koehler Woodworks in Brunswick, Maine. He is now creating Wanderwood, a sustainable lodging and events destination in Mid Coast Maine.
